Dharma Lab

The Dharma Lab is an open approach to awakening in the spiritual sense.  In the modern era the old forms of transmission via Guru and lineage are no longer as viable as they have been, yet the alternative of each person trying to bootstrap themselves is a recipe for a lack of real depth.

Taking inspiration from the organisational patterns and continual evolutionary successes of the open source software world, the Dharma Lab is a place where self-initiation and transmission can happen via the peer group:  “…like a net of jewels where each is simply a reflection of all the others in a fantastic interrelated harmony without end…”

In the Dharma Lab patterns of practice can emerge from the collective, allowing each participant to fully retain their individuality and autonomy yet still benefit from the work of others.   This is the lineage-of-one.
